Home Hub Academy

Introduction

We set up the Home Hub Academy because we want the level of service you experience to be outstanding throughout the process – right from your first visit to one of our showrooms to the first time you fling your new Origin doors or windows open.

So we set about developing our very own training programme. An 18 month course, it is a combination class based training, practical fitting in our installation academy on site and course work. As our trainees begin to develop their skills they are introduced to site under the wings of our fully qualified installation teams. The apprenticeship is assessed by a third party, giving them a qualification in fenestration.

Based in a dedicated 2,000 square foot space at our Bracknell headquarters, we have created a fun learning environment with trainees fully engaged. Our extensive training programme ensures our installation team have thorough product knowledge, backed up by levels of customer service and attention to detail you should expect when you’re making a big investment for your home with your Origin doors and windows.

The vision

We wanted to create our own training programme to ensure the windows we supply are installed the right way every time. Not only ensuring that we maintain continuity of quality as we grow our business, but also ensuring that we have a continuous supply of new and enthusiastic recruits with the right skill set who also have the opportunity to thrive within a growing business. We can also offer our training programme to builders and developers so they can provide the same level of quality for their clients.

Creating opportunities

We want our training to be open to anyone and are really excited to be in conversations with both Langley College and The Prince’s Trust. We have created a safe environment where people can feel valued, learn a new skill and be financially rewarded from day one.
